Review of God and Globalization: The Spirit and the Modern Authorities, Volume 2 edited by Max L. Stackhouse with Don S. Browning. Soma readers will recall the earlier review of God and Globalization: Religion and the Powers of the Common Life, Volume 1 from the previous issue. This review continues the engagement with this series of four books with volume two. The series was born through the initiative of Max L. Stackhouse and his attempt to address the globalization of religion. It is sponsored by The Center of Theological Inquiry, Princeton, NJ, USA. Volume two is comprised of six essays, each by a different author, and an introduction by Stackhouse.
